Head to Head

The Kelowna Falcons took the season series over the Bellingham Bells by a 4-2 margin, winning series 2-1 at home and on the road.

In the 1st series between the 2 teams, the Bells chased Kelowna starting pitching in the first 2 games before they even got an out. The Bells also lead 3-0 in the finale of that first series, but Kendall Motes lasted 5 innings only allowing the 3 earned runs. Kelowna’s offense and bullpen would team up in that series and come from behind, winning 2 of the three games.

In Bellingham July 31 – August 2nd, the Bells took the opener of the series, adding late runs to beat Kelowna 6-1. The Falcons would get stellar pitching in the final 2 games, as Brady Miller and Michael Koval both picked up victories in tight games.
