A “Lane” Back

He was one of the most liked teammates of the 2015 roster and now Lane Lacrone will have a new set of players to impress here in 2016.

Last season Lacrone was solid in helping to the Falcons to one of their best seasons defensively in recent memory finishing with a .959 fielding percentage.  In 44 games Lacrone committed just seven errors.

At the plate the Fruitland Idaho native batted .274 collecting 48 hits and 15 RBIs while stealing 12 bags.

This past spring at Colorado Mesa he hit .330, including 37 hits, five doubles, three homeruns and 11 RBIs.   He also swiped eight bags and committed just five errors while collecting 76 defensive assists in 41 games played.

Most of the Falcons players will report to Kelowna on June 1st, in preparation for the FREE home opener on Friday June 3rd against the Bellingham Bells.
