Kelowna Falcons

Welcome Back Carter

The Falcons are proud to announce that Max Carter will return to Kelowna this summer after an All-Star season in 2015.

Carter was instrumental in helping get the Falcons back into the post season, falling two wins shy of their first West Coast League title.  He hit .282 last year, collecting 35 hits, seven doubles and 15 RBIs last summer.  In the All-Star Game he finished 1-3.

Primarily Carter played at firstbase, however he can play the outfield and even came on in relief twice, throwing a total of one inning, allowing one hit and walked three.

Currently as junior at Cal-State Bakersfield, Carter is hitting .308 with 44 hits, six doubles and 23 RBIs.  He has started all 42 games this spring.

Carter and the rest of the Falcons will report to Kelowna on June 1st, before beginning defence of the Eastern Division pennant on Friday June 3rd at Elks Stadium against the Bellingham Bells.
