Bats Smack 12 Hits

The offence continued to role for the Falcons on Wednesday, blasting 12 hits in a 7-5 victory over the Bluejackets in Kitsap.

The Falcons used a four run second inning and never looked back as Tevin Mitchell, Michael Cianco and Davis Todosichuk each collected RBIs in the frame.

In the fourth the visitors tacked on two more runs as Todsichuk brought home Mitchell for his second RBI of the game.  Cameron Sterne scored on a balk.

The bottom third of the order (Mitchell, Cianco and Todsichuk) accounted for six of the Falcons 12 hits and tallied four RBIs.

With the offence clicking O’Keefe Hall, making his first start this summer took advantage.    The righty threw six innings fanning four and allowing four runs on six hits recording his first win of the summer.  Riley Moore struck out one in the bottom of the ninth and recorded the save.

With the victory the Falcons capture the road series and will look for the sweep on Thursday night with Max Carter on the bump getting his first start.

Friday night the Falcons will be back at Elks Stadium hosting these same Bluejackets in the back half of a home and home.  First pitch on Friday night is set for 6:35pm.
