Druce Enters Derby

The Falcons have entered the All-Star break on hot streak, winners of six straight and have the best record in the North Division.

Jake Druce will look to keep the momentum going representing the Falcons in the All-Star Game homerun derby.

He’ll face 11 other candidates in the derby and will try to be crowned the second straight Falcon to win the event.  Last season Hunter Villanueva blasted six homers in the final round to win the championship.

If Druce can win, he would be the third Falcon in All-Star history to be crowned.  Villanueva last season and Nick Freitas back in 2008.

The All-Star Game homerun derby is set for Tuesday night at 6:00pm in Cowlitz just prior to the game.
