A pair of Pilots will fly a different kind of wings this summer as Falcons as manager Bryan Donohue has signed Chris Arpan and London Penland from the University of Portland.

Arpan is a utility freshman hitting .288 in 19 games so far this season.  He’s collected three doubles, a homer and six RBIs offensively.  On the defensive side he’s tallied 22 putouts and 12 assists.

Last season at Jesuit high school he was named the Crusaders team MVP for the second time (2014) helping them win an Oregon state title.  He hit .386 as a senior.

Arpan (pictured) is majoring in psychology.

Penland is an incoming freshman infielder for the Pilots.

Both players are expected to be in Kelowna on June 2nd for the Falcons home opener against the Port Angeles Lefties.  Season tickets are available now by calling the Falcons headquarters at 250.763.4100.
