This spring Williams is hitting .389 in 11 games, collecting seven hits including a pair of doubles and four RBIs.  Defensively he has recorded 17 assists and six putouts.

Also joining the Falcons infield is freshman Matt Bottcher from the University of Illinois-Chicago.

The Romeoville, Illinois native lettered all four years at high school and served as the team captain for three seasons.

Last year he earned All-Southwest Prairie Conference honours and is a two-time All-Area honouree.

His major is undecided.

This spring as a freshman he has played in 16 games and has collected eight RBI, while defensively he has 18 putouts.
