A Pair of Buffalo

Manager Bryan Donohue has signed a pair of players from West Texas A&M for the summer season; outfielder Jimmy Cubillos and right handed pitcher Brayden Price.

Cubillos (pictured) is coming off his junior season with the Buffalo and hit .348 with 55 hits, 11 doubles, a pair of triples, a homerun and 18 RBIs.  He was also 4-4 in steals and had a solid .981 fielding percentage.  He protects the plate well, striking out just 10 times in 158 at bats.

Price on the other hand pitched his first season with the Buffalo after transferring from Otero Junior College.   He appeared just three times this past spring, but struck out two in four innings of work.

Both players are expected to be in Kelowna beginning June 1st and ready for the home opener on June 2nd against the Port Angeles Lefties.

Season tickets for the Falcons 17th summer are on sale now by calling the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100.
