Kelowna Falcons

A Familiar Face Added

Manager Bryan Donohue is pleased to add a familiar face and a hot hitting infielder from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Right handed pitching Cal Hehnke returns to Kelowna for his second summer.  Last year he was named to the West Coast League All-Star and finished with an 4-0 record in 11 appearances and fanned 52 batters.  He compiled an ERA of 3.16 through 54 innings.

This spring at school he leads his team with 43 strikeouts in 15 outings and has an ERA of 3.86.

Infielder Grant Suponchick has also been added as the 2018 roster starts to fill out.   As a junior this spring he has had 100 at-bats, is hitting .280 with 28 hits, 15 RBIs and five doubles.

Both players are expected to be in Kelowna on June 1st when the Falcons open the season against the Bellingham Bells at Elks Stadium.  Season tickets are available now, as are dates for the Corporate BBQs and the Group Double Play.  To find out how to bring your group to the ballpark for just $10 a ticket which includes a hotdog, pop and bag of chips call the Falcons’ headquarters at 250-763-4100.
