Lefties v. Falcons

Tonight the Falcons open a three game home series with the Port Angeles Lefties at Elks Stadium.

The Falcons are playing their best baseball as of late, winners of six of their last seven games, including winning two of three in Port Angeles last week. Yesterday was a day off after a weekend sweep of the Northwest Honkers.

The Lefties have won three straight and sit 2.5 games ahead of the Falcons in the North Division standings. Currently the Falcons are 4.5 games back of a playoff spot.

Matt Voelzke (2-0) will get the start for the Falcons on the mound. In nine appearances he has struck out 26 over 21.1 innings and has a 1.26 ERA.
