Series Win in PA

The Kelowna Falcons earned a series win in Port Angeles after a 5-4 victory on Thursday to end the six-game road trip.

The offence broke through to score all five runs after being down 2-0 heading into the sixth inning. After Owen Prendergast drew a bases loaded walk to get the Falcons on the board, Damian Stone (pictured) collected a massive two-out, two run single to put the visitors in front.

Then in their next at bats the Falcons put the game out of reach when Makana Olaso and Kam Edwards tallied back-to-back RBI singles.

From there the combination of Trent Merrill and Hiroyuki Yamada held the lead giving the Falcons their 15th win of the summer. Merrill recorded the win while Yamada the save.

The Falcons return home to welcome the Walla Walla Sweets to Elks Stadium for a weekend series beginning on Friday night. Game 2 of the series will be played on Saturday night, which is also Ladies Night. Ladies can get a game and drink ticket for just $10. Reserve your tickets online HERE.
