Kelowna Falcons

Kamloops Bound

The Kelowna Falcons have an opportunity to play spoiler over the next three days when they travel to Kamloops to face the NorthPaws in a series that starts on Tuesday night.

After Monday’s 4-1 loss at Elks Stadium against the NorthPaws the Falcons playoff hopes have dimmed but are not gone. A good showing in Kamloops could put the Falcons right back in the thick of the playoff race. Currently the NorthPaws hold down the fourth and final spot however by just two games. With six regular season games remaining the Falcons are still in the mix for not only fourth spot, but they are just three games back of the third place Edmonton Riverhawks.

Following the mid-week set in Kamloops, the Falcons return home to Elks Stadium this coming weekend to wrap up the regular season with the Yakima Pippins in town.

Prior to the games on Friday and Saturday, the Falcons coaching staff will host a morning baseball kids camp from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Registration will take place on Friday morning for the two-day camp with the fee of $150 per camper. Each player that registers for the camp will get a ticket to Saturday night’s game between the Falcons and Pippins. Campers will need to bring their glove, water bottle, snack, bats, helmet, and protective cup. Baseball cleats are encouraged but not required.

Tickets for the series against the Pippins can be purchased at the front gate.
