Stinky Sox

The Wenatchee Applesox scored a run in their first at bats and it turned out to be the only run they would need, shutting out the Falcons 8-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Sox scored in the first, sixth and then exploded for six runs in the eighth to take the series and hand the Falcons their second straight loss.

The offence was quiet with only three hits on Father’s Day, two of them from Jacob Devenny, the other tallied by Sam Flores.

The Falcons (8-7) return home beginning on Tuesday for a three-game series with the Bellingham Bells. The first pitch on Tuesday is set for 6:35pm, and tickets are available at the front gate or online HERE.
