‘Cats Tame Falcons
The Victoria Harbourcats took down the Kelowna Falcons on Wednesday 11-3 to win the series pounding out 14 hits.
After the Harbourcats scored a pair in the top of the first off starter Sasha Kamenjasevic, the Falcons tied it in the bottom half. JP Smith and Griffin Palfrey each had an RBI hit in the inning.
After that it was all ‘Cats picking apart the Falcons.
In the bottom of the fifth the Falcons did score thanks to an RBI single by Jonas Salk knocking in Austin Gutierrez, but it was too little, too late.
Kamenjasevic was hit with his second loss of the season lasting just two innings. Meanwhile on the offensive side Salk was the only Falcon with a multi-hit game.
The Falcons will have a day-off on Thursday before welcoming the Kamloops NorthPaws for a game on Friday night. Tickets are available now HERE, or you can get them at the gate starting at 5:30pm.
