Ladies Night



After four days off the Kelowna Falcons are back on the field at Elks Stadium on Friday night to take on the visiting Edmonton Riverhawks to open a three-game weekend series.

For the Falcons it’s the second half of a home-and-home with the Riverhawks after beating them two out of three in Edmonton last weekend. They outscored the ‘Hawks 11-7 and outhit them 25-19. Jacob Devenny led the charge with four hits in the series including a double while Luke Solis picked up a game winning triple in the 10th inning of game one in Edmonton. Griffin Palfrey and Raphael Smeenk each added three his and combined for three RBIs.

The West Coast League has now entered the second half of the season and the fight for the final playoff spot in the North Division has begun. The Falcons have 11 more regular season home games hosting the Riverhawks, Kamloops NorthPaws, Port Angeles Lefties and Wenatchee Applesox. They are 10-6 this season at Elks Stadium.

Friday night is Ladies Night at Elks Stadium, fans can get a game ticket and glass of wine from The View Winery for just $10.00. Ladies Night tickets are only available at the front gate, beginning at 5:30pm with the first pitch at 6:35pm.
