Bats Silenced
Wednesday night the Kelowna Falcons offence was frustrated by an outstanding pitching performance from the Corvallis Knights who held the visitors to just two hits in a 6-1 victory.
The Falcons got on the board first in Corvallis on an RBI ground out off the bat of Trevor Wilson in the second inning, however that’s all the runs they would muster. Trey Duffield tallied both hits for the Falcons who dropped their second in a row.
The Knights scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning off Falcons’ starter Jaxon Bryd who suffered the loss. Three pitchers combined to walk nine batters and only struck out four.
Thursday night the Falcons (7-4) will get one more crack at the Knights (9-2) before coming home on Friday to open a series with the Port Angeles Lefties at Elks Stadium that night. Tickets for the weekend series are available HERE.
