Kelowna Falcons

Schedule Unveiled

The Kelowna Falcons and West Coast League are proud to announce their 2015 schedule.

The Falcons will play an unbalanced 54 game regular season schedule that will take them a league leading 9,239.2kms throughout the Pacific Northwest.  The club will play in the East Division and host 27 home games during their 15th season.

The Falcons will open the season on the road versus the only other Canadian franchise the Victoria Harbourcats for the third straight year, on Friday June 5, 2015.  It’s the only meeting of the season against the Harbourcats..   The Falcons will face their Eastern Division foes; Wenatchee Applesox, Walla Walla Sweets and Yakima Valley Pippins nine times over the course of the summer.

Tuesday June 9, 2015 the Falcons will host their 15th home opener and will continue their tradition of offering free admission.

The defending WCL Champion Bellingham Bells will make their only stop at Elks Stadium for a three game series beginning Monday June 22nd.  The Medford (Oregon) Rogues will make their first ever appearance in Kelowna for a three game series beginning Friday June 12th.

The Falcons will face their bitter rival, the Applesox nine times in 17 days in July, including a home and home series from Monday July 13th to Saturday July 18th.

“This is a big year for us,” says General Manager Mark Nonis.  “It’s our 15th season in Kelowna coming off two straight difficult summers.  I believe Head Coach Billy Clontz has a much better handle on things at this standpoint of the year and I’m excited to see our club come together in early June.“

“We made some great strides last summer by filling the ballpark a number of times and we have some exciting things planned for this coming summer.”

Game times at Elks are scheduled for 6:35pm with the exception of Sundays at 6:05pm.  Select game times may be changed once the promotional schedule is finalized.
