Three Pitchers Added

The Kelowna Falcons have added 3 more pitchers to their staff for the upcoming West Coast League Season.

Michael Koval (Alta Loma, CA) is currently pitching for Cal Poly Pomona in NCAA Division II. Currently in his sophomore season, Koval has a 2-0 record with a 2.83 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched. His Bronco’s currently lead the California Collegiate Athletic Association standings with a 25-11 record.

From Ohlone College, Elias Bedolla (Fremont, CA) will bring a workhorse mentality to the Falcons, as he has thrown 69 innings already this season. Bedolla (pictured) sports a 6-2 record with a 2.99 ERA. He has also struck out 45 hitters.

The final addition this week is Jacob Musial (Ague Dulce, CA) from Linn-Benton Community College. The Freshman pitcher is 4-3 with a 3.18 ERA in 8 starts this season. He has 50 strike outs in 48 innings. Musial has also seen time at the plate, batting .311 with 2 HR and 18 RBI.

The Falcons open up the 2015 season June 5th in Victoria against the Harbourcats. The TELUS/Comcast HOME OPENER will be June 9th at Elks Stadium.
