Kelowna Falcons

Jasper In BC

The Kelowna Falcons are pleased to add Jasper Nelson, a righthanded pitcher to the 2022 roster from Spokane Community College.

The sophomore has had seven starts this spring and is undefeated at 3-0 with a 3.15 ERA. He has tossed 40 innings and has struck out 51 batters to lead the Spokane pitching staff. He has four solid pitches with a sinker, slider, change-up and fastball that touches 92mph.

Originally from Las Vegas he is majoring in kinesiology in the classroom and loves the city of Spokane. He hopes one day to assist in an athlete’s recovery and get them back onto the field.

He is expecting to be in Kelowna the week of June 5th and will be ready to either start or come out of the bullpen this summer. The Falcons home opener is set for June 3rd presented by Stutters Restorations and admission is free.

With players arriving at the end of the month the Falcons still have a few host family opportunities as well. Billets receive a grocery allowance, season tickets and an incredible experience helping shape a young student athlete on his path to the Major Leagues.
