Kelowna Falcons

An Apple Donut

It was a tough night for the Falcons on Thursday dropping the rubber match in Wenatchee by a 13-0 score.

The Applesox offence jumped on Falcons’ starter Brock Keller early scoring three runs in the second inning and never really looked back. In all they pounded out 17 hits against four Falcons’ pitchers, but it was Keller that was hit with the loss.

There weren’t too many bright spots for the visitors in the setback as six different hitters collected a single and three players either drew a walk or were hit by a pitch.

The Falcons will have to erase this game from their memories immediately as the club stays on the road to open a three-game series with the Walla Walla Sweets on Friday. They finally return to Elks Stadium on Tuesday to try to inflict some payback on the Applesox. Reserve your tickets online HERE. Tuesday is also Bark at the Park as fans can bring their dogs to the game, while the Kelowna Dachshund Club will be in attendance with a fun show on the field.
