Kelowna Falcons

Sweet Series

Following the weekend series with the Walla Walla Sweets the Kelowna Falcons are proud to announce the Player and Pitcher of the Series presented by Wildfire Marketing.

Player of the Series
Jaden Parsons – University of Central Oklahoma, Kelowna, BC

Parsons played in all three games of the weekend series with the Sweets and was a very consistent player offensively and with the glove. At the plate he hit .545, drove in three runs, scored twice, walked three times while defensively he made three putouts.

Pitcher of the Series
Jasper Nelson – Spokane Falls Community College, Las Vega, NV

One of the bright spots on the mound over the weekend was the dominance of Jasper Nelson. He started game one of the series and threw a four-inning shutout, striking out one. He was one of the few pitchers to see live action that didn’t walk a batter.

The Falcons are home to the Edmonton Riverhawks beginning Tuesday for a mid-week three-game series. Thursday’s game is the first ever Falcons Nooner presented by the Reuter-Kotler Real Estate team with the first pitch set for 12:35pm. Tickets are available at the front gates an hour before the opening pitch.
