After a series win in Port Angeles we are proud to announce our Pitcher and Player of the Series presented by Wildfire Marketing.
Pitcher of the Series
Derek Beairsto – Centralia College, Centralia, WA
In his final start in a Falcons uniform Beairsto made it a memorable one. He threw a complete game, fanning nine on route to a blowout win. His complete game came at the perfect time for a pitching staff that has thrown a lot over the course of the summer and this six-game road trip.
Player of the Series
Makana Olaso – San Jose State, Murrieta, CA
The two games the Falcons won in Port Angeles, Makana Olaso was behind the plate. With a bat in his hand, he was equally solid. He finished the series batting .444 with three RBIs, four runs scored and had a pair of walks.
The Falcons open a weekend homestand with the Walla Walla Sweets beginning tonight on country night at 6:35pm. Saturday night is Ladies Night, so round up the gals and come to the game to take advantage of a game AND drink ticket for just $10. Get the tickets at the gate.
