After careful consideration, for the final time this season the Kelowna Falcons are pleased to announce the Player and Pitcher of the Series presented by Wildfire Marketing.
Player of the Series
Kam Edwards – Bossier Parish Community College, Lake Charles, LA
He was terrific during the final series at Elks Stadium when the Falcons hosted the Yakima Pippins last weekend. He collected five hits, scored four runs, walked four times, had a pair of doubles, stole a base, drove in a run and was solid defensively.
Pitcher of the Series
Cole Van Every – Southwest Baptist University, West Kelowna, BC
He started the final game of the season and was on point. He lasted five innings, baffling Pippin hitters, allowing one run and struck out three. He finished with a no decision.
