Honourable Mentions

The West Coast League (WCL) has announced their All-WCL Teams following the 2022 summer and a pair of Falcons pitchers were given an Honourable Mention.

Jasper Nelson was outstanding this past summer finishing with a team high three wins and a solid 2.29 ERA. He started six games, threw 31.1 innings and struck out 28 along the way. He threw a complete game at Edmonton on July 9th and only allowed eight earned runs over the course of the season.

Nick Woodcock was a lefthanded specialist for the Falcons making eight appearances and starting five games. He finished with a team best 1.85 ERA, which is the sixth lowest in franchise history. He also had a team high 32 strikeouts over the course of 34 innings pitched.
