Pitching Staff Grows



The Kelowna Falcons are pleased to announce they are continuing their long-standing relationship with the University of California, Santa Barbara and have added pitcher Elliot Gallegos to the roster.

The redshirt junior from Torrance California has only had 4.1 innings of work so far but is projected to get a lot more time on the bump as the spring moves on. He has six strikeouts and has only given up one hit so far.

Gallegos worked primarily out of the bullpen last season as well, making 11 appearances and finished 1-0 and collected a save.

When he joins the Falcons pitching staff, he will be a big contributor coming out of the pen making relief appearances.

The Falcons free home opener presented by Stutters Restoration Is set for June 6th at Elks Stadium when we welcome the Nanaimo NightOwls

The Falcons are also looking for billet/host families for the upcoming summer. You can make a difference in the life of a student athlete when they are in Kelowna. Host families receive a grocery allowance, tickets and an unforgettable experience. Keep in mind our players are only in town for half the summer, with the other half on the road at away games.
