OH…3 Pitchers Join

A pair of familiar faces from Ohlone College in California will return this season to the Falcons roster and they are bringing a teammate.

Righthander Sean Fekete (pictured) is back after making four appearances for the Falcons last summer, which included three starts. He finished 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA, fanning 22 batters over the course of 20 innings pitched. This spring he has been pitching at Oakland University after transferring from Ohlone. He is 4-4 and has struck out 32 in 16 appearances.

Nate Rosser joined the Falcons late last season after our club suffered several injuries to the pitching staff. This spring at Ohlone he is 5-1 in 13 appearances, leading the school with 61 strikeouts over 56.1 innings pitched.

Junior righty Manato Tateno will also join the Falcons pitching staff this summer from Ohlone. In 14 appearances in the spring, he is 2-1 and has struck out 28 batters in 24.1 innings.
All three pitchers are expected to be in Kelowna this week in anticipation of the opener in Portland on Friday, then the free home opener on June 6th presented by Stutters Restoration.

We are still looking for a couple more billet families for our student athletes. When you become a billet family you receive a grocery allowance, season tickets and a wonderful experience that will last a lifetime. Contact Alex Draper to reserve your spot at 250-575-2400.
