Watch out for these four pitchers as they will be throwing strikes for our pitching staff this summer. The season opens on May 31st at Elks Stadium!

Lefthander Gus McKay is a sophomore at Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas. He has made 12 appearances this spring, throwing 19 innings. He’s recorded 19 strikeouts while giving up 15 hits. He will be a nice option for our coaching staff as he’s versatile enough to start or come out of the bullpen as a lefthanded specialist.

Lefty Sebastian Castro from San Diego is a junior at Chaminade University in Honolulu. He has made 15 appearances this spring, has a win and an ERA just over five. He’s fanned 23 batters in his 34.1 innings of work and will be a veteran voice on our pitching staff this summer.

Caleb Taylor is a lefthanded freshman who hasn’t seen a lot of innings this spring with Mineral Area College in Missouri. He’s a freshman from Curve Lake Ontario and should get plenty of opportunities to throw this summer.

Righthander Zachary Sutton is coming off an injury so was a red shirt this spring at Blinn College in Texas. He is a very motivated, hard throwing pitcher with something to prove this summer.

The season opens on May 31st with our free home opener presented by Stutters Restoration. The Nanaimo NIghtOwls come to town with the first pitch set for 6:35pm.
