One Bad Inning

For the second straight night the Falcons had one bad inning en route to a 7-3 loss to the visiting Nanaimo NightOwls.

After coughing up four runs in the top of the first inning, the offense got on the board for the first time this season in the bottom half.  In all the ball club collected seven hits with Matthew Pena, Cameron Sewell and Jacob Campagna each driving in runs.  Trey Duffield scored two of the three runs.

Starter Ben Schroeder made his Falcons debut and didn’t get out of the first inning, suffering the loss.

NightOwls designated hitter Cassidy Watt was the best weapon collecting a pair of two hits and had three RBIs for the visitors.

Sunday night the Falcons will try to salvage one win in this series when they meet the NightOwls for the final time.  The gates open at 5:00pm with the opening pitch set for 6:05pm.  Reserve your tickets HERE.
