Friday Night Baseball

Friday night the Falcons open a weekend series with the Port Angeles Lefties at Elks Stadium.

The Falcons need to play well this weekend and start to win ballgames to push themselves back in the playoff discussion.  The team has struggled as of late and has lost five in a row including a heartbreaker in the bottom of the ninth inning with two-out last night in Bellingham.

They will host the Lefties, a team that has lost three straight and have had their struggles on the road.  The are 7-14 away from Port Angeles, a trend the Falcons are hoping continues.

At the end of June, the Falcons went to Port Angeles and won the series beating them two out of three and outscored them 17-14.  It will be important for the Falcons to get runners on base early, and bring them around to score to build confidence.

Reece Bueno is the scheduled starter and will deliver the first pitch at 6:35pm.  The gates tonight open at 5:30pm and fans can pre-purchase tickets HERE.
