Duff’s Field

The Kelowna Falcons are excited to announce the return of Trey Duffield for the summer of 2024.

Last season Duffield made his presence felt both defensively and with the bat. He patrolled centerfield better than most ever to dawn a Falcons uniform. He gracefully would track down flyball after flyball, at times stealing extra base hits away from the opposition. He was named the Falcons Best Defender last season.

Offensively Duffield was solid hitting .255 in the 38 games he played. He collected 35 hits, seven of them were doubles, two triples and had a homer. He drove in 22 runs, scored 13 times and swiped nine bags. His 137 plate appearances were the third most on the team.

He enters his junior season at Rice University this spring and his Owls compete in the American Athletic Conference. They open the season at Notre Dame on February 16th.

The Falcons meanwhile open the 2024 season on Friday May 31st when the Nanaimo NightOwls come to Elks Stadium. Season tickets are available now by emailing mark@kelownafalcons.com.
