Falcons Bell Rung
It was a tough night for the Falcons on Friday night, falling 5-0 to the visiting Bellingham Bells.
In the second inning the Bells struck for three runs off starter Zach Sutton, all unearned because of mishaps in the field. They would add a run in the fifth and one in the sixth to take a strangle hold on the game and cruise to their seventh win of the season.
Offensively the bats collected six hits, two each from Cameron Sewell and Gavyn Jones while Nate Gray Jr and Brecken Menuet each had one.
Saturday night the Falcons (3-7) and Bells (7-6) meet for the second time with the gates opening at 5:30pm, and the first pitch set for 6:35pm. JJ Luna will get his first start of the summer season for the Falcons.
