Falcons Shutout

The Falcons ran into a strong pitching performance from the Wenatchee Applesox on Wednesday night losing 3-0 behind only two hits.

Eddie Fines and Matthew Pena were the only two to record a hit against the Sox who used only two pitchers to shutdown the Falcons offensive push.

The Falcons pitching was also solid but didn’t get any offensive support.  They scattered five hits and walked six giving up a pair of runs in the fourth and a single run in the seventh en route to the Sox 32nd win of the campaign.

Thursday the Falcons will have the night off before opening a home-and-home series against the Kamloops NorthPaws.  They will play in Kamloops on Friday before playing their final home game of the season on Saturday night at Elks Stadium.  The night is also pegged as Fan Appreciation Night where the ballclub gets an opportunity to thank the fans for the wonderful season.  Tickets can be purchased in advance online HERE.
