Final Weekend

The Falcons open a home-and-home series this weekend with the Kamloops NorthPaws beginning on Friday in Kamloops.

These two have met four times this year with both teams winning twice.  The Falcons have struggled as of late and will be playing shorthanded with several players already back and home preparing for their upcoming school season.  The players that remain are committed and dedicated to finishing the season.

The NorthPaws are also playing shorthanded and come into the series following a 6-5 win over the Bellingham Bells on Thursday night.  As a matter of fact, they took two of three against the Bells and have two more victories than the Falcons in the second half of the season.

As a team the Falcons are hitting .255 on the summer while the NorthPaws are at .222.  Both pitching staff have had their struggles on the bump with ballooned team ERAs.

Saturday is the final Falcons home game of the season and it’s also Fan Appreciation Night when the team empties the prize drawer to say THANK YOU for a great season in the stands.  The gates open at 5:30pm and the first pitch is set for 6:35pm.  Fans can pre-purchase tickets HERE!
