Offence Sputters

The Falcons offence was very quiet in front of a great crowd on Tuesday night in a 3-1 loss to the visiting Kamloops NorthPaws.

Hits and baserunners were few and far between as the bats collected only three hits in the loss.  Matthew Pena (pictured) had two of the three hits and Jacob Devenny had the other.

The lone run came in the sixth when Eddie Fines drew a bases loaded walk.  The offence squandered a golden opportunity with the loaded bases and only one out but could only push across that one run.

The 2024 All-Star Game featuring Trey Duffield and Gavyn Jones in Bellingham takes place tomorrow night, before the Falcons return to the field on Thursday to meet the NorthPaws in Kamloops.  They will be back at Elks Stadium to open a weekend series against the Portland Pickles on Friday night.
