Yav-Hoo!

Our 2024 pitching staff has grown by four more arms from Yavapai College in Arizona.

Along with lefty Nick Woodcock who we announced a few weeks ago, Carter Boone, Austin Humphres and Eli Oshiro will join on club.

Boone is a tall lengthy righty that has split time starting and coming out of the pen this spring. He has a victory after six starts (12 appearances), thrown 37 innings and has struck out 37 batters.

Sophomore lefthander Humphres had made an impressive 21 appearances this spring, has recoded two wins and a pair of saves. Over the course of 31.1 innings he has fanned 37 batters.

Freshman righthander Oshiro has thrown 23.1 innings this spring, appearing in 13 games. He has two wins and has struck out 32 along the way.

With the season quickly approaching, our club is on the search for billet families for our student athletes. There are plenty of perks when joining our Falcons family, so contact Alex Draper to find out more at adraper29@shaw.ca. He can also help book your summer parties at the ballpark.

The season opens May 31st with our FREE home opener presented by Stutters Restorations when our club hosts the Nanaimo NightOwls at Elks Stadium.
