C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll 2022, 2023
2023: Recorded a hit in 10 of 13 starts… Picked up his first career hit and his first career start (at DH on 3/11 vs. HCU) … Slapped a pinch-hit, RBI single in the first game of the doubleheader vs. LA Tech on 4/8, earning him his first career start in the field in game two (left field)… Drove in the first run in the Owls’ 4-0 win over the Bulldogs with an RBI single in the first inning… Went on to hit in five straight from 4/8-4/14… Picked up his first career extra-base hit with a double vs. Lamar on 4/11.

Prior to Rice: Led Prosper to a 25-13 record as a senior while repeating as District 5-6A champions and reaching the 6A regional quarterfinals for the second straight year…First team All-District 5-6A and second team all-state honors as a senior for coach Scott Holder…. Hit .327 with two homers, four triples, and five doubles… Also lettered three times in football… Uncle (Ty Hanson) played baseball at UCF.
