The pitching staff continues to fill out as manager Bryan Donohue and the coaching staff have signed a pair from the powerhouse Lower Columbia College Red Devils.

The Northwest Athletic Conference season is still young but sophomore lefthander Jake Roes (pictured) is off to a good start. He’s already appeared in three games and is 1-0 with a 4.76 ERA and a strike-out.

In his freshman season last year he appeared in six games, finished 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA and 11 punch outs.

Righthander Anthony Garcia will primarily come out of the pen for the Falcons this summer like he is for the Red Devils. He’s been lights out so far this year in three appearances collecting a win and two saves in 12 innings of work. His ERA is 0.75 and has three strikeouts.

As a freshman last year the Happy Valley (Oregon) native finished 2-1 with a 3.15 ERA and a save in nine appearances. He tallied 22 strikeouts in 25.2 innings of work.

Both pitchers are expected to be in Kelowna for the home opener June 2nd against the Port Angeles Lefties. Season tickets are the best value in the City for the entire family and they are on sale now by calling the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100.
