Two More Returning

The Kelowna Falcons will welcome four familiar faces to Elks Stadium this season.
Along with Sam Murphy, who was announced last week, the Falcons will welcome back Josh Nuernberg (Las Vegas, NV) and Will Fox (Montgomery, TX).
Nuernberg (pictured), with the College of Southern Nevada currently has a 3-1 record with 6 saves and a 1.76 ERA. He has also picked up 27 strikeouts in 30.2 innings.
Last season for the Falcons, Nuernberg made 7 starts, went 2-3 with 3.43 ERA and registered 48 strikeouts in 52.1 innings in West Coast League action.
Fox transferred from Texas Christian University to McLennan College and has had a good season as a starter.
He currently is hitting .290, with a .430 on base percentage. He has 5 doubles, a triple, and a pair of homeruns for 16 RBI’s.
Fox was the starting shortstop on last year’s Falcons team after arriving from the College World Series, hitting .204 with a .321 OBP and .929 Fielding %.
The Falcons will open the season on the road in Victoria on June 5th, before welcoming the Yakima Pippins on Tuesday June 9th in their 2015 home opener presented by TELUS/Comcast.
