Fantastic Four

The Kelowna Falcons welcome four players from Edmonds College in Washington onto the upcoming summer roster as a pair of outfielders and a battery has been added.

Freshman outfielder Cody Ranit was terrific this past spring collecting a .314 average after 137 at bats and 43 hits. He led his club blasting six homeruns, nine doubles and 35 RBIs.

The other freshman outfielder that has been added to the roster is Jaidon Matthews who also had a solid spring. After 68 at bats, he tallied a .324 average with 22 hits and seven RBIs.

Catcher Brock McMullen platooned with teammates this spring and played in 23 games, getting 55 at bats. He collected three RBIs, eight hits and scored eight runs.

Lefthanded Kaden Lewis (pictured) had an outstanding spring starting 12 games and finishing with a 6-2 record, throwing a pair of complete games. He threw 65.1 innings and fanned 42 batters with a combination of a fastball, curveball, slider and change-up.

All four players are expected to be in Kelowna on June 3rd for the 2022 home opener and admission to the game will be free courtesy of Stutters Restorations.

The team is still looking for a couple of billet families. This is your chance to make a difference in the life of a student athlete and give them a home during our 2022 campaign.
