Kelowna Falcons

Hawks To Falcons

A pair of Columbia Basin Hawks will become Falcons this summer as the 2022 roster starts to shape up with the addition of Cam Soliz and Dylan Berry.

This spring sophomore Cam Soliz (pictured) has shown he’s a two-way player, able to pitch and play in the infield. On the mound he’s 1-1 with a save and a 2.70 ERA over the course of 13.1 innings and has 15 strikeouts. At the plate he’s only had six at bats and has a stolen base.

Berry is also a sophomore right hander and has worked primarily out of the bullpen. Each of the four games he’s appeared in the Hawks have won and he’s pitched two innings in those victories. He’s allowed just one run, has 14 strikeouts with a 1.04 ERA and has a save.

Both players are expected to be in Kelowna and ready to go for the FREE home opener on June 3rd presented by Stutters Restorations.

With players arriving at the end of the month the Falcons still have a few host family opportunities as well. Billets receive a grocery allowance, season tickets and an incredible experience helping shape a young student athlete on his path to the Major Leagues.
