Kelowna Falcons

Falcons Host Knights

The Falcons are back home Tuesday evening to kick off their three-game series against the Corvallis Knights. These two clubs met just last week on the Knights’ turf, with the home side taking 2 of 3 games. The Falcons are hoping to return the favour this week and move over .500 on the season and out of third place in the WCL’s North division.

The Falcons, who have stumbled slightly as of late, are hoping to right the ship and regain that winning form from the early stages of the season. The birds won their last outing, and would like to take some momentum into Elks Stadium for the start of their six-game home stand.

The Knights are winners of their last 4, and 6 of their last 10, pushing them to 9-6 on the year, good for second place in the South division.

The Falcons will turn to starter Blake Rendazzo (1-1, 2.29 ERA) for Tuesday’s matchup, with Tanner Knapp set to follow up on the mound on Wednesday. Game 3’s pitcher is still TBD.
