Mustangs on Roster

Our ballclub is excited to welcome four players from the Cal Poly Mustangs to the 2024 roster which includes a pair of returning players.

A few weeks ago we announced the return of freshman Griffin Naess to our pitching staff. Last year he joined the Falcons following his senior year in high school and finished with an ERA of 1.68 over the course of 16 innings and struck out nine.

Joining Naess on our staff is Reece Bueno (pictured) who was part of our roster a year ago. He saw limited action appearing in five games, threw seven innings and struck out six. He’s a freshman this season at Cal Poly and is expected to make an impact this spring.

Infielder Nate Castellon is from Woodland Hills California and is currently a high school senior at Calabasas high school. He’s a middle infielder that has committed to Cal Poly and will attend in the fall. Perfect Game has ranked him on their most comprehensive scouting report for 2024.

Outfielder Dante Vachini is a young athlete with tremendous upside. He is a senior at Petaluma high school in California and will be attending Cal Poly in the fall. He is a lefthanded stick that could see some key at bats during the summer in Kelowna. Like Castellon, Perfect Game has ranked him on their most comprehensive scouting report for 2024.
