Hearn Selected

Congratulations to outfielder Matt Hearn, selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 24th round of the Major Baseball Draft over the weekend.

Hearn was in a Falcons uniform during the 2015 season as an incoming sophomore.  He hit .329 in 39 games and .294 during the five playoff games.

During the regular season he collected 26 hits, a triple, 18 runs scored and eight RBIs.  He also stole 11 bases.

He joins pitchers Curtis Taylor, Michael Koval and Alex Webb as the Falcons class of 2015 selected in the Major Baseball Draft.
