A Pair Of Griffons

Falcons’ manager Bryan Donohue is pleased to announce a pair of additions from Missouri Western State University as infielder Brooks Day and left handed pitcher Kellan Richards have made the roster.

Now in his junior year at Missouri Western, Day has become an everyday starter hitting .301 in 196 at bats with 59 hits, 14 doubles, seven homers and 36 RBIs.

In the 53 games he’s started this spring he has a .421 on base percentage and leads his team with 35 walks.
On the defensive side he’s tallied 125 assists and 136 putouts.

Richards leads his team with 35 appearances this spring, all out of the bullpen.  He’s currently 1-2 with a 3.73 ERA and has fanned 24 hitters.

He also has had three saves this spring.

Both players will arrive in Kelowna on May 30th and will have roughly two days to get ready for the 2018 home opener on June 1st when the Bellingham Bells visit.  Season tickets are available now by calling the Falcons’ headquarters 250-763-4100.
