The Kelowna Falcons are excited to announce the addition of Michael Montrezza to the roster for the upcoming summer.
Michael is a senior at Trinity University in Texas playing in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. There are nine teams in the Division III Conference with Trinity at the top of the standings with a 19-2 record.
This spring at Trinity he has started 21 games for the Tigers and is hitting .342 in 76 at bats with 26 hits, two homeruns and 14 RBIs. Once he gets on base, he has shown the ability to steal, swiping five bags in eight attempts. Defensively he has made 33 putouts and 66 assists playing in the infield.
The Falcons open the season on June 3rd with the home opener against the Victoria Harbourcats. Admission to the game will be free.
