The Kelowna Falcons finished the road trip in Walla Walla with a pair of wins in Sunday’s doubleheader and now handout some hardware. The Player and Pitcher of the Series is presented by Wildfire Marketing.
Player of the Series
Luke Solis – UC San Diego, Chino Hills, CA
The junior-to-be played in all three games in Walla Walla and was terrific both offensively and defensively. At bat he would hit .428 with three RBIs, a double and he scored two runs. With the glove at short, he collected seven defensive assists and had a pair of putouts.
Pitcher of the Series
Casey Spencer – San Jose State, Arcadia, CA
He got his second start of the season and was masterful through 4.2 innings of work on Sunday evening. He struck out five, with his only blemish was a two-out single in the fifth inning.
