Manager Bryan Donohue is pleased to add a pair of left handed pitchers and an outfielder from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley to the roster.

Outfielder Ryan Fish is currently in his junior season as a transfer from Jefferson College in Missouri.   In 11 games this spring he has three hits, a homerun, four RBIs and has scored five runs.

Last season at Jefferson as a sophomore Fish hit .267 with seven doubles, two homers, 18 RBIs and 32 runs scored.

Lefthander Juan Carreon is also in his junior season as a transfer from Black Hawk College in Illinois.  He’s made nine appearances out of the pen this spring and has thrown 16 innings, striking out 10.

The other lefthander Bradley Stookey has yet to see action this spring with the Vees.

All three players are expected to be in Kelowna on June 1st when the Falcons open the season against the Bellingham Bells at Elks Stadium.  Season tickets are available now, as are dates for the Corporate BBQs and the Group Double Play.  To find out how to bring your group to the ballpark for just $10 a ticket which includes a hotdog, pop and bag of chips call the Falcons’ headquarters at 250-763-4100.
